About Me

I'm Laura. I'm 21 and I come from Manchester. I think the title of this blog is perfect for me; I'm 4ft 11 and I'm often mistaken for a 12 year old. I've also just graduated from university, and have since been thrown into the big, wide, real world. So far it sucks!

I have a degree in Creative Studies (basically Creative Writing) and I want to work in children's book publishing when I grow up. I'm easy to please, a bit like a child with a shiny object. I love, love, love reading and writing. I constantly have music playing, I like life to have a soundtrack. I'm a film buff, but my fellow film studies students are ashamed of me and my love for RomComs. I can't help it though, I'm a hopeless romantic and a sucker for the cute underdog. Spending time with my family and friends makes me insanely happy. I can't describe how lucky I am to be loved by such awesome people.

I'm quite spiritual. I believe in God. I recently joined an amazing church in Manchester and I try to go as often as I can. I hope to get more involved in the church community as time goes on.

I have two blogs. The aim of this one is to chronicle my life and what I get up to after 17 years in education. I have quite a few things lined up over the next year or so, including my own Happiness Project and Day Zero Project, and I hope to keep track of these through this blog. My second blog is my book blog, which you can find HERE.
